If you're lucky enough to live in the Islands or will be n Oahu for Father's Day in June with your dad, here's a tip, treat him to dinner at Chef Mavro which is owned and operated by one of Hawaii's top chefs. Trust me, we've dined at this romantic eatery that sits just 15 minutes by cab or car from Waikiki.

For Father's Day Dinner, Chef has added his famous huli huli chicken (local and free range of course!) and Jose Calpito's grilled Melba-style peach dessert pictured above.

Both grilled dishes will be available as Small Plates OR as courses on the Grand Tasting menu. Also Jose's famous Halo halo dessert is back!! For Father's Day and on the current menu. How about Burgundy Beef! And Onaga Baked in a Salt Crust. All Dad-pleasers.

  • In the main dining room you can have a casual meal with small plates and approachable prices.  Order multiple plates to share or enjoy your own dishes priced  from $15 to Keahole lobster at $36.  And new Wines by the Glass from $13 for 5 ounces. Now you can dine at your own pace & be in control for how much you want to spend.  Also, the size of the portions will allow you to build your own menu & the number of courses you want.
  • In the semi-private  room two steps up,  you will find the  Chef Mavro Five Diamond experience : the Grand Degustation menu in a refined ambiance. These tables are reserved exclusively for the Grand Degustation Chef’s menu with 9 courses $17.
