There's a lot to love about Lulu California Bistro in Palm Springs on Valentine's Day

My favorite happy hour/lunch/dinner spot creates a February trifecta

By Patti Pietschmann

Why do I love Lulu California Bistro? Let me count the ways:  great all-day long happy hour at the bustling bar with top barkeeps pouring stiff drinks and generous glasses of wine and waiters bringing plates of delicious half-priced dishes. Of course you can always sit on the patio or at a table, but my husband Richard and I and our friends prefer the friendly bar.

Well if you happen to be heading to Palm Springs for next month you should really plan to stop at Lulu's for its February Follies-a trifecta of fun t hat in includes a Super Bowl buffet, romantic V-day dining and a Hollywood-style Oscar bash.

Here's what's happening:
Super Sunday Buffet for the Big Game – February 5 from 2-6 p.m. $24.99
Watch THE BIG GAME on 120-inch screens and large TVs with family, friends and other sports fans in our mezzanine that will be completely devoted to the game. Feast on an all-afternoon on delicious food served buffet-style such as BBQ ribs(we've had 'em and they're soooo good), hamburgers (best in town_,  hotdogs (not a fan myself, but hear they're good),  salmon, chicken wings, pizzas, sliders, pasta, tacos, soups, salads and a variety of delectable desserts. It has all of the fun of tailgating in the comfort and style as only Lulu can do. Sound good, book it, now it was sold out like the Big Game itself last year.
